The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The Semiconductor Business reported higher revenue due to increased overseas market share, rising demand and a recovery in the domestic market. The Cybersecurity Business performed well both in Japan and overseas, particularly in endpoint security, ASM and SASE. The CPS Solutions Business was affected by prolonged decisions by local governments on the introduction of autonomous EV buses. Despite uncertainties including semiconductor memory shortages and longer delivery times, the full-year forecasts were left unchanged from the figures announced on 11 May 2026.
