The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Demand for reused goods expanded as consumers became more price-conscious amid inflation, demand for summer merchandise came forward as temperatures rose, and replacement demand for household appliances such as air conditioners was strong against the backdrop of the 2027 problem. While sales and gross profit exceeded expectations, selling, general and administrative expenses remained in line with the plan, which also contributed to the increase in profit.
