The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the Supply Business, sales of proprietary products expanded and new customers were acquired, while in the IT Solutions Business, PC sales and cross-selling and upselling of security equipment, services and other offerings grew. Gross profit increased as sales of high-margin proprietary products, IT products and services expanded, while expenses related to investments in personnel and business expansion also increased. The increase in net income was also affected by gains on the sale of cross-held shares and tax credits under the tax incentive for promoting wage increases.
