Items this document does not state (10)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Net sales increased because sales prices for roe products in the domestic processing business remained above assumptions, while the overseas wholesale business continued to trend toward higher revenue. The increase in profit from higher sales absorbed increases in SG&A expenses, including personnel expenses associated with an increase in headcount and storage fees related to higher product inventories, resulting in higher operating profit. Ordinary profit improved as foreign exchange gains and losses on foreign-currency-denominated receivables improved from the year-earlier period.
