The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.The purpose is to use renewable energy generated in the region locally, clarify where the electricity is produced and how it is used, and promote the local production and consumption of renewable energy, the creation of regional energy, regional economic revitalization, and regional decarbonization through collaboration with companies in Nagano Prefecture. The plant had already adopted CO2-free electricity in full before this initiative, so the initiative will not directly reduce the facility's CO2 emissions.
