The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Profitability in the SOKUYAKU business improved following revisions to the fee structure for clinics and pharmacies and growth in the number of SOKUYAKU Benefit registrants, while sales of the Shokansen series performed well in the pharmaceutical D2C business. In the healthcare marketing business, marketing support for D2C operators and highly profitable logistics projects contributed to results. In the healthcare sales business, however, EBITDA declined as advertising investment was increased to acquire new subscription customers whose sales contributions are expected from the second quarter onward.
