The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Because a proposal to elect outside directors will be submitted to the annual general meeting of shareholders. Each candidate is expected to provide management oversight and advice, as well as expertise in areas including finance, law and taxation. They have been designated as independent officers because there is no risk of a conflict of interest with general shareholders and they meet the criteria in the Tokyo Stock Exchange guidelines.
