FY2023-Q1First statedAnnual report
「As a result, net sales increased 0.3% year on year to ¥3,428 million. In terms of profit, we implemented various initiatives, including improving operational efficiency, reducing costs and reviewing raw materials, in response to soaring global resource and grain prices and supply constraints stemming from the situation in Ukraine, rising raw material costs, supply chain disruptions and higher fuel prices. However, continuing to provide consumers with a stable supply while maintaining quality became difficult through the company's efforts alone, so we implemented price revisions for some products shipped from 1 June 2022. Nevertheless, cost increases for raw materials, fuel and other items exceeding the assumptions made at the time of the price revisions affected results. Operating profit decreased 30.6% year on year to ¥103 million, ordinary profit decreased 17.0% to ¥211 million, and net income attributable to owners of the parent decreased 18.2% to ¥145 million.」
In FY2023-Q1, net sales increased 0.3% year on year, while operating profit, ordinary profit and quarterly net income attributable to owners of the parent declined due to higher costs for raw materials, fuel and other items.
