The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Revenue exceeded the previous fiscal year due to higher average prices and inbound demand. Operating income and ordinary income increased as a result of the revenue increase and lower costs for new store openings and renovations, but fell short of plan because reservation-platform and delivery-platform fees and external service costs increased, and the company did not sell any stores. Net income was below both the previous fiscal year and plan due to an ¥80 million impairment loss and a ¥55 million adjustment to income taxes and other taxes.
