The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The reduction in capital reserve is intended to enable more agile and flexible capital policies going forward. The disposition of surplus is intended to be used to offset the deficit. The amendments to the Articles of Incorporation are intended to enable virtual-only shareholders meetings, improve shareholder convenience, and make the operation of shareholders meetings more efficient. The revision of Audit & Supervisory Board member remuneration reflects the strengthening of corporate governance and the increased roles and responsibilities of Audit & Supervisory Board members, among other factors. The continued meeting is being held because accounting and finance personnel and others died in a fire at an overseas subsidiary, and additional time is required to submit audit materials to the local accounting auditor.
