「As part of its efforts to strengthen its real estate-related services business, the Company initially planned to allocate ¥440 million of the funds raised through the issuance of new shares to acquire 2 real estate properties, a regional hotel and a simple lodging facility. The planned spending period was July to September 2018. The Company subsequently conducted extensive sales activities toward acquiring the 2 properties, but repeated negotiations with the sellers broke down, leaving it with no choice but to abandon the acquisition of both properties. Meanwhile, after continuing to search for alternative properties, the Company entered into a purchase and sale agreement to acquire the property described below as real estate for sale. Accordingly, the funds initially planned for the acquisition of the 2 properties will be allocated to the acquisition of this property.」
Following the decision to abandon the acquisition of the 2 real estate properties, the Company changed the use of the ¥440 million raised through the issuance of new shares to the acquisition of alternative properties. It also indicated a policy of allocating surplus funds to working capital for the trading business in response to increased advance payments for purchases.
