Items this document does not state (15)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Selling, general and administrative expenses increased due to the rise in stores operated by sales agents, patent and trademark acquisition costs, personnel expenses, and accelerated amortization of existing systems associated with the EC renewal. The decline in the number of stores in the domestic specialty-store business and the removal of tariff exemptions in the overseas business also weighed on operating profit, while the domestic EC business and sports wholesale business recorded higher profits.
