「The Kinsyobo store, which we opened in Nakano Broadway in August 2021, was deemed to constitute a store-based special sex-related business establishment (adult shop) as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 6, Item 5 of the Act on Control and Improvement of Amusement Business, etc. In January 2022, our Nakano, Shibuya, SAHRA and Grand Chaos stores were also subject to an investigation by an administrative agency on suspicion of displaying and distributing obscene materials, and the cases were referred to prosecutors. However, by September 2022, all of the cases had resulted in decisions not to prosecute.」

This is the first disclosure, as a business compliance risk, of the fact that there was a misunderstanding of the legal interpretation concerning the new store and that the case was referred to prosecutors because operations continued after the police station raised the issue.
