Regional revitalization in Shodoshima through sesame and food and agricultural education for the next generation

「In September this year, the company again carried out the "Sesame Futures Shodoshima Project," a regional revitalization project conducted in partnership with Tonosho Town, Shodoshima, Kagawa Prefecture, with the aim of creating a "sustainable island connected through sesame" and revitalizing Shodoshima, the company's founding location. As part of the project, 78 elementary school students from Tonosho Town, Shodoshima, took part in fieldwork. Through sesame grown in Shodoshima and harvested that year, the project raised their interest in food and agriculture, while allowing them to experience the appeal of the region through interaction with producers.」
