「In January this year, to commemorate the planting of the 1,000th tree under the “Cherry Trees of My Town for the Future Project,” which has planted and conserved cherry trees across all 47 prefectures since 2019, we held a commemorative planting at Zojoji Temple, a famous cherry-blossom viewing site in Tokyo. The project is being carried out jointly with the Japan Cherry Blossom Association, with the wish of preserving and continuing to bloom cherry trees, long loved as a symbol of spring in Japan, for future generations, in commemoration of Oi Ocha's 30th anniversary in February 2019.」
The project, which has been conducted across all 47 prefectures since 2019, reached the milestone of 1,000 trees planted and is being carried out jointly with the Japan Cherry Blossom Association.
