「Last November, Ureshino City in Saga Prefecture, with the Company's support, issued the “Ureshino City Tea for Health Declaration,” using Ureshino tea, one of the city's specialties, to promote initiatives that enable residents to maintain healthy and fulfilling lives and to promote Ureshino tea. The initiative includes lectures by employees holding ITO EN Tea Taster certification on “swishing green tea in the mouth,” as well as classes on how to brew tea to extract more catechins, a principal component of green tea. A range of information that tea professionals are uniquely able to convey is being shared at tourism events and educational, cultural and medical facilities in the city.」
For the first time, the Company describes an initiative centered on Ureshino tea that promotes healthy living and tea while engaging with the local government, residents and tourism, education, culture and medical facilities.
