「The effects of COVID-19 have been prolonged and continued during the six months ended September 30. In the notes to the previous consolidated fiscal year's securities report, the Group had assumed that the effects would continue for a certain period of the following consolidated fiscal year. In light of current market deterioration, we changed the assumption to one under which the effects would continue until around the end of the current consolidated fiscal year and recovery would take place over the following several years, and made accounting estimates including impairment of fixed assets and the recoverability of deferred tax assets.」
