Reason for the revision

Takara Shuzo has revised its sales forecast downward because demand brought forward was below expectations, but has revised its operating profit forecast upward due to the efficient use of selling, general and administrative expenses and other factors. The Takara Shuzo International Group has revised its forecast upward due to higher overseas sales, higher gross profit resulting from price revisions, reciprocal tariff refunds and foreign exchange effects. Although the Takara Bio Group expects lower sales in its reagents business and a downside from its product mix, operating loss is expected to narrow as selling, general and administrative expenses decline.
