The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In Japan, the order environment remained firm for public works related to disaster prevention and mitigation, national resilience initiatives and other areas, as well as maintenance and management services for roads, rivers and ports. Overseas infrastructure demand was also strong, and an additional contract was signed for a large-scale rail project. Against this backdrop, production activities also progressed smoothly. For ordinary income and below, the company also expects the impact of foreign exchange fluctuations and the recognition of an allowance for doubtful accounts for an affiliate.
