Revenue grew mainly through stock-based services, as restaurant support services expanded. Growth was driven primarily by higher promotional revenue from ministries and local governments, as well as increased sales at the kitchen equipment retailer 「テンポスぐるなび」. Profit and loss improved, with losses narrowing from the initial plan as a result of tighter cost control, lower fixed costs following a review of hiring plans outside the restaurant support area, and the deferral of some advertising and promotional expenses to the second half following a review of spending timing.

The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue grew mainly through stock-based services, as restaurant support services expanded. Growth was driven primarily by higher promotional revenue from ministries and local governments, as well as increased sales at the kitchen equipment retailer 「テンポスぐるなび」. On the profit and loss side, outsourcing costs, depreciation, system rental fees and personnel-related expenses increased. However, tighter cost control, lower fixed costs following a review of hiring plans outside the restaurant support area, and a review of the timing of advertising and promotional spending resulted in some expenses being deferred to the second half.
