The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue increased due to growth in both ARPU and the number of stores. Revenue from subscription-based services exceeded plan as the company focused on winning annual-contract business. Promotional revenue grew through expansion of business with government ministries and local authorities, while revenue from related businesses increased, including through higher sales from Tempos Gurunavi. Cost of sales rose due to higher depreciation expense resulting from the accumulation of fixed assets and higher subcontracting costs associated with revenue growth. Selling, general and administrative expenses increased due to higher personnel costs from staff additions, system rental fees, and advertising and promotional expenses related to campaigns and other initiatives.
