The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The decline in operating profit was mainly attributable to lower revenue and profit in the game business due to trends in individual titles and other factors. The increases in profit before tax and profit attributable to owners of the parent reflected business trends at Cygames and GO, as well as the recognition of a ¥39,517 million gain from the sale of part of the Company's holdings in connection with GO's initial public offering on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market and the fair value measurement of the remaining interest.
