The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

The downward trend in newspaper insert advertising and other high-billings businesses intensified beyond expectations at the beginning of the period, and coverage from high-value-added services did not fully keep pace. The Company also recorded a large real estate brokerage-fee project in the same period of the previous fiscal year. From the second quarter onward, the Company aims to achieve its full-year plan by further expanding sales of high-value-added services and strengthening its sales activities. The acquisition and cancellation of treasury shares are intended to improve and enhance capital efficiency and increase shareholder value.
