Research findings on a novel method for evaluating the function of adipose-derived mesenchymal stromal cells (ASC) presented at the 23rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Immunotherapy

To evaluate the immunomodulatory functions of ASC, we examined an evaluation method using cytokine stimulation as an alternative to the conventional T-cell proliferation inhibition assay and presented the research findings at the academic meeting. The results indicated that the method could potentially be used for evaluation, but practical implementation and formal adoption have not been decided.
