Data input error in retirement benefit obligations and correction of prior-period financial results

「In April 2025, we discovered that data related to retirement benefit obligations under the retirement lump-sum benefit plans had been entered incorrectly at the Company and 4 consolidated subsidiaries, resulting in the understatement of liabilities related to retirement benefits and other items since prior periods. In response, we have corrected a series of errors included in the consolidated financial statements and financial statements contained in securities reports filed on or after 24 June 2020, the quarterly consolidated financial statements contained in quarterly securities reports filed on or after 2 August 2022, and the interim consolidated financial statements contained in the interim securities report filed on 6 November 2024.」
