Factors Behind Changes in Business Performance

In the corporate market, demand for security measures and for cloud services and generative AI usage management, together with progress in orders for the new Z-FILTER product, contributed to performance. In the public-sector market, growth was driven by wins of projects under the second phase of the GIGA School Initiative and projects for government ministries and agencies. In the household market, demand through existing sales channels fell below the level of the same period of the previous year, resulting in lower revenue. On the cost side, communications expenses, software amortization and personnel expenses increased, while recruitment expenses and expenses related to the previous fiscal year's 30th anniversary decreased.
