Items this document does not state (16)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the Steward business, progress was made in opening new facilities, expanding orders for hospital projects and hotels, and renewing contracts to reflect higher costs. In the Food Service business, new openings increased and the rollout to new hotel chains proceeded smoothly, but investments in personnel, initial costs associated with new openings, and higher prices for food ingredients, equipment and consumables weighed on profit. In the Space Production business, demand for new and replacement installations of ITV systems, peripheral equipment, business broadcasting systems and monitors for financial institutions remained firm.
