「We also set greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets and, on the basis that they are science-based targets aimed at limiting the increase in global temperatures to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, as required by the Paris Agreement, obtained validation from the SBTi (Science Based Target initiative) (Note 3) in May 2025. We will continue efforts to achieve these targets.」

We also submitted a commitment letter to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), which validates science-based targets (SBTs), in December 2023, and are working to set and obtain validation for greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets within 2 years.」
We are proceeding with the measurement and monitoring of Scope 1–3 emissions, with the setting and validation of emissions reduction targets within 2 years of submitting the commitment letter in December 2023 as the objective.
