The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Against a backdrop of continued labor shortages in Japan and solid demand for human resources from client companies, business activities progressed mainly in the core SBU. Higher numbers of temporary staff placed and higher billing rates, improved productivity, growth in the high-margin recruitment business, and the effects of acquisitions in the BPO business contributed to higher revenue and profit. Meanwhile, the Asia Pacific SBU posted lower profit due to year-on-year differences in subsidy income and higher system renewal costs.
