The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

In the Performance Marketing business, results benefited from growth in recurring revenue, expansion of overseas performance advertising, growth in marketing solutions, and improved performance at overseas subsidiaries. Net income improved due to the contribution from the performance of the equity-method affiliate in Vietnam, foreign exchange effects, and a recovery in the earnings of consolidated subsidiaries. In the Media business, revenue declined in comparison media, advertising revenue fell as content-media views decreased, and advertising budgets in the human resources field were constrained.
