Items this document does not state (13)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue in the construction business declined due to the lower order backlog at the beginning of the fiscal year and changes in the start dates of some projects. In the real estate business, one-time costs associated with new real estate acquisitions increased, resulting in a lower gross profit margin. The company worked to reduce fixed costs and set appropriate contract prices, but these efforts did not offset the decline in revenue.
