The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue increased as sales volumes remained firm and the company implemented price revisions. However, operating profit and ordinary profit declined as higher costs, including raw materials, personnel and logistics expenses, preceded the increase in revenue, and depreciation expenses rose following the start-up of the new plant. Interim net income attributable to owners of the parent increased due to the sale of investment securities in line with the policy of reducing cross-shareholdings.
