The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue increased because construction projects progressed relatively smoothly and sales of molded products in the roofing business increased. Profit decreased because construction costs and costs for measures to strengthen manufacturing and construction operations increased, gross profit decreased, and selling, general and administrative expenses, including head office relocation-related expenses, increased. The projected decline in profit for the fiscal year ending March 2027 reflects an anticipated deterioration in market conditions, higher labor costs due to employee recruitment and other factors, and increased costs for measures to strengthen manufacturing and construction operations to improve quality.
