Company-Wide Sustainability Promotion Framework Led by the Sustainability Promotion Committee and 7 Subcommittees

「当社グループは、リスクマネジメント基本規程で定めたリスクマネジメント活動に従い、サステナビリティ推進委員会において、リスクが顕在化する前に適切に対処できるよう、又はリスクが顕在化した場合に、その被害・損害を極小化できるよう、潜在する各種リスクの洗い出しを実践しております。なお、サステナビリティ推進委員会の審議内容は、当社の取締役会に報告しております。」

「In fiscal 2024, the Company also established an environmental and human rights due diligence framework. It will operate a PDCA cycle covering the identification and assessment of adverse impacts, prevention and mitigation of adverse impacts, tracking the effectiveness of responses, and information disclosure concerning the impacts of the Group’s business activities on the environment and human rights, and will review and improve the framework as appropriate.」

「The committee is chaired by the President and Executive Officer and, in principle, meets 3 times a year. Seven subcommittees have been established under the Sustainability Promotion Committee for each theme designated as a material issue. Each subcommittee specializes in collecting and sharing information on the relevant issue, examines new risks and opportunities, formulates response policies and plans, and periodically reports and makes recommendations to the Sustainability Promotion Committee.」

「From 1 April 2023, the Group established a sustainability promotion framework centered on the Sustainability Promotion Committee and will strengthen initiatives to understand sustainability-related issues, including social and environmental issues, and resolve them through its business activities.」
