Reason for the revision

In the non-consolidated results, operating profit is expected to exceed the previous forecast by ¥600 million, ordinary profit by ¥1 billion, and net income by ¥200 million, mainly because progress in securing design changes in the civil engineering business has exceeded the assumptions made at the time of the previous revision and profitability in the building construction business has continued to improve. The consolidated revision is mainly attributable to the revision to the non-consolidated earnings forecasts.

Previous-period resultsNet sales: ¥185,114 million; operating profit: ¥3,459 million; ordinary profit: ¥3,026 million; net income attributable to owners of the parent: ¥3,429 million; earnings per share: ¥242.75 (fiscal year ended March 2025)
Dividend forecast revisionThe year-end dividend forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2026 has been changed from ¥160 per share by an increase of ¥10 to ¥170. The annual dividend has also been changed from ¥160 to ¥170.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

In the non-consolidated results, operating profit and other figures are expected to exceed the previous forecasts because progress in securing design changes in the civil engineering business has exceeded the assumptions made at the time of the previous revision, while profitability in the building construction business has continued to improve. The consolidated forecasts have been revised mainly in line with the revision to the non-consolidated earnings forecasts. The dividend increase is intended to enhance shareholder returns in light of the revision to the full-year earnings forecasts.
