The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Gunshima (郡司島) is being appointed to draw on experience working at a financial institution and serving as a director and executive officer at other companies, while Ogawa (小川) is being appointed to draw on experience serving as a director and executive officer at other companies. The company has also determined that both individuals meet the independence requirements, have no special interests, and are not at risk of conflicts of interest with general shareholders, and therefore will designate them as independent officers.
