- FY2026AdvancedAnnual report
「In recent years, the company developed the NAKAROD method, a galvanic-anode system. An FRP trough containing a sacrificial anode and an electrolyte layer is screwed to the concrete surface. The anode material and steel in the concrete are connected by a conductor. The method is easy to install and easier to maintain than systems using an external power supply.」
The company reports that, in addition to conventional methods such as the ribbon-mesh method, it developed the NAKAROD method, a galvanic-anode system for cathodic protection of RC structures. - FY2019RestatedAnnual report
「Corrosion of reinforcing steel in concrete can also be prevented through cathodic protection. The ribbon-mesh method, which has been used on many structures, embeds a ribbon-shaped titanium strip anode in grooves cut into the concrete and supplies protective current to the reinforcing steel using a DC power supply.」
The company continues to describe its cathodic protection technology for reinforcing-steel corrosion in RC structures. - FY2016First statedAnnual report
「The Arapanel method developed by the company is a galvanic-anode system in which plate-shaped aluminum alloy is attached to the concrete surface. Its light weight and ease of installation enable shorter construction periods, while the absence of a power supply makes it maintenance-free and helps reduce initial and running costs.」
The company describes the Arapanel method as a specific technology for expanding its RC business, highlighting its light weight, ease of installation and lack of need for a power supply.
