The bar length represents the relative magnitude of change, based on the item that changed the most in this document. The percentage change shown by the dotted line is calculated from the two reported figures because the company did not provide the rate.

Reason for the revision

Net sales are expected to increase due to higher gas selling prices resulting from the impact of imported energy prices, among other factors. In addition, iodine selling prices have risen as the yen has remained weaker than assumed, and operating profit in the iodine business is expected to increase. As a result, operating profit, ordinary profit, and profit attributable to owners of the parent are expected to exceed the previous forecast.

Previous-period resultsNet sales: ¥91,354 million; operating profit: ¥10,594 million; ordinary profit: ¥11,699 million; profit attributable to owners of the parent: ¥8,379 million; earnings per share: ¥156.99 (fiscal year ended December 2025)
Dividend forecast revisionThe year-end dividend is scheduled to be increased by ¥14 from the previous forecast of ¥15 to ¥29. The total annual dividend is not shown because the amounts cannot simply be aggregated due to the stock split.
