The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Quarterly results were mainly affected by lower selling prices. The full-year forecast was revised because assumptions for crude oil prices and foreign exchange rates from the second quarter onward were reviewed in light of stable operations at the Ichthys Project and elsewhere. The forecast is presented as a range because uncertainty surrounding the situation in the Middle East has increased.
