「鳥形山鉱業所第３立坑建設工事は坑内滴水対策などで当初計画から約１年工期を延期し、2024年度の本格運用を目指し建設中であります。八戸鉱山新鉱区開発は2021年度に一部出鉱を開始しておりますが、開発工事が全て完了し本格操業となるのは次期中期経営計画期間を予定しております。アルケロス銅鉱山は環境許認可手続きに想定以上の時間が取られたことや、コロナ禍での手続き停止により開発の機関決定が遅れておりましたが、本年４月の取締役会にて経済合理性を確認し開発移行を決定、工事に着手しております。」
