The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The increase in revenue, mainly in the detached housing segment, and the improvement in the gross profit margin absorbed the increase in selling, general and administrative expenses. In the detached housing segment, the number of homes constructed increased 3.1% year on year and construction prices increased 10.7%, while price revisions also contributed to improved profitability. Meanwhile, the waterproofing segment reported lower revenue due to supply constraints and higher prices for construction materials, as well as construction schedule changes caused by rainfall.
