「We conduct seismic tests using tremors equivalent to a major earthquake expected to occur once every several hundred years, assuming seismic intensity 7, and have confirmed that the homes do not collapse or suffer structural failure. This demonstrates that they provide a high level of safety and seismic resistance. In addition to vibration-control performance, we actively use the “Tama Home Original Damper,” which combines a wall-strength ratio of 5x, the strength most suitable for homes with seismic grade 3.」
The company has organized its existing seismic-testing and disaster-response disclosures into a broader disaster-resilient housing and BCP program covering seismic grade 3, original dampers with a wall-strength ratio of 5x, immediate establishment of a disaster-response headquarters and business-continuity and recovery manuals by disaster level.
