## 事業

JVCKENWOOD is engaged in manufacturing and sales in automotive, public service, and media service sectors, with related ancillary businesses. In the first quarter of the current fiscal year, group net sales declined year over year. The impact of COVID-19 led to reductions in revenue and profit in automotive, public service, and media service sectors, while other segments including DX-related businesses maintained and aimed to recover. FX rates used in the settlement were about 108 JPY/USD and 119 JPY/EUR (previous year reference: about 110 JPY/USD and 124 JPY/EUR). Outlook remains uncertain due to the pandemic; management will continue strict cash outlays, selective capital expenditure, development spending and cost reductions, and will push ahead with initiatives in each segment (new navigation, domestic auto aftermarket expansion, AI-sensing dual-camera and 360-degree dashcam, wireless systems in North America, etc.).
